Even though modern conservatories are made from low maintenance materials,
some maintenance must still be performed to keep it looking as good as the day it was built.
Periodic cleaning ensures that algae build-up on conservatory roofs and gutters is controlled, avoid those unsightly green stains and loss of light inside, which if left untreated can become increasingly difficult to remove.
The removal of such debris takes time and skill which will carry an extra charge. It is the responsibility of the Tradesman to protect glass in his work area and to clean up after finishing any works.
Cleaning gutters may be overlooked in any program of facilities management. As it is not possible to see into your guttering feathers, leaves, twigs, rubbish and even birds' nests can build up until the gutter fails to cope with the next heavy downpour of rain. For gutters to do their job of clearing rainfall they need to be clear. Gutters need to be cleared and checked at least once a year, and more frequently if the building is close to trees.
As this process takes two or three times longer it will carry an extra charge. Although this is quite often deferred and will only become payable if the service is cancelled within the twelve month period.
We also carry out other services which may involve working at height etc.
These may include bulb changing, cleaning mirrors etc. that may be out of reach
