IOSH CREDITED TRAINING
Although we carry out strict in-house training for all our staff, we have introduced a policy of sending each member of staff on IOSH Credited Training courses to further their progress as professional window cleaners.
WAHR (WORKING AT HEIGHT REGULATIONS)
All work carried out in accordance with the working at height regulations 2005.
We are fully aware of the implications that WAHR directive imposes and the use of ladders. We will use our Water Fed Pole Systems for most work but if the need does arise for access equipment then we will use the safest method possible.
COSHH
(CONTROL OF SUBSTANCES HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH)
We can sometimes use hazardous substances in order to break down dirt, grime and algae. We control the exposure to chemicals by complying with the COSHH directive.
The Work at Height Regulations
Safe Use Of Ladders & Stepladders
Tool Tips For Ladder & Stepladder Safety
It is the policy of Clearview of Leigh to take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of the general public, all employees, staff on site and contractors alike and to take all necessary steps to implement such a policy.
METHOD STATEMENTS & RISK ASSESSMENT
On each and every site that we carry work out on, we will record and provide our method statement and carry out a full risk assessment. We can carry out these site surveys once our quotes have been formally accepted in writing.
